Trevor Ray Jenkins, born on April 17, 1937, in Charlottesville, Virginia, peacefully passed away on March 16, 2024, in Falls Church, Virginia, due to complications from a stroke. He was the beloved son of Raymond Jenkins and Elizabeth Duncan.
Trevor was preceded in death by his loving parents, his cherished wife Margaret “Maggie” Rose Loyd, and his two dear brothers; Raymond Jr. Jenkins of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Sulley Jenkins of Alexandria, Virginia.
He is survived by his children; Ray Jenkins (Dianna), Adrianna Kirk (Johnny), and Damian Jenkins (Emelda). Trevor leaves behind a legacy of 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Eloise Jenkins-Watson of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Trevor was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
In 1960, Trevor married the love of his life, Margaret “Maggie” Rose Loyd, in a beautiful ceremony in Hawaii. They shared 54 wonderful years together until Maggie's passing in 2014.
Throughout his life, Trevor found joy in his work as a welder. He took pride in his craftsmanship and dedication to his profession. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and creating lasting memories with his grandchildren, whom he adored dearly.
Trevor was known for his kind heart and unwavering friendship. He leaves behind his best friend Tommy Grabble, along with his two loyal feline companions, Oliver and Sarah.
Trevor Ray Jenkins will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
