Charles West officiating will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00AM at Mullins Cemetery in Veribest, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 14, 2017 6:30PM until 8:00PM.Truman was born on July 18, 1927 in Eola, TX to Barney Green Lee and Helen Gabbert Lee. He married Billie Joy Morrow on September 2, 1945 in San Angelo. He was a retired veteran of the United States
Army having served during
WWII. Sarge was the NCOIC of the Breckenridge National Guard Unit, serving for 33 years. He was an American Legion member and officer, member of the Breckenridge Masonic Lodge and past Master of the Breckenridge lodge, he served as the Stephens County Veteran's Service Officer, and was the past president of the Breckenridge Lion's Club. Also, Mr. Lee was the owner of Lee's Lock Shop. Survivors include his sons, Mike and wife Deborah of Amarillo, Barney and wife Carolann of Gardendale, Bob and wife, Cheryl of Snyder, and Rocky and wife, Terri of Crowley. He is also survived by a sister, Carlene Westbrook and husband, Lynn of Tulare, Ca.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Bille, and great-grandson Nicklas Lee.
