WYOMING - Tyler Eric Henderson, passed away Nov. 21, 2016, in his home in Georgetown. Tyler was born on Dec. 14, 1981, in Milford. After graduating from Polytech High School, Tyler joined the United States Coast Guard, stationed in Attu, Alaska; where he served for four years. He was currently working at Walmart in Georgetown. Tyler enjoyed hunting, fishing, being at the beach, and working on motorcycles in his spare time. But the greatest love of his life was for his three children, Cheyenne Lynn Henderson, 12; Savannah Rayne Henderson, 10; and Mason Tyler Henderson, 8. Playing Little League Baseball for most of his younger years with his brother meant a lot to him. Since he was a catcher and his brother, Jeremy, was a pitcher, they were exceptionally close. He was happy to hear that his nephew, Brennan Henderson, was interested in following in the sport. Tyler was loved by so many people because of his good nature, his caring and compassionate soul, and his ability to have people feel safe, comfortable, and needed, when it did not come naturally for them. Tyler was preceded in death by his aunt, Denise Kowinsky; and his older brother, Jeremy Henderson, who both passed in 2013. He is survived by his parents, Deborah and Richard Carter and David and Sylvia Henderson; his sisters, Kate Henderson and Kasey Carter Murphy; his brother, Brian Carter; his nephew and nieces, Brennan and Avery Henderson and Ava Grace Murphy. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, in Calvary Assembly of God, 1141 East Lebanon Road, Dover. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Camden-Wyoming Little League, P.O. Drawer 0, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934.
