Tyler "Ty" Embrel, age 24, a resident of Columbus, died unexpectedly at home Saturday, Feb 23, 2019 He graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School Class of 2012. Tyler was enlisted in the United States Marines. He attended Vineyard Church of Columbus and in his teen years was a counselor for Circleville Bible College summer church camp. He was an avid musician, skateboarder and snowboarder. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Louise Embrel and his cherished Chocolate Lab, Deisel. He was the beloved son of Craig and Darla Embrel and loving brother of Tucker Embrel Also surviving are his grandparents, Jacob and Molly Embrel; uncles and aunts, Rusty (Polly) Embrel, Brad (Helen) Embrel, Laura (Sean) Starington, Lydia (Bruce Lake Walter, Brock (Brenda ) Kirk, Karen Kirk, Dori (Todd) Scottsberg; many cousins and friends and his faithful and loyal Lab,Diesel. Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270) and Friday from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Graham officiating. Entombment in Kingwood Memorial Park.
