Tyler was born on February 16, 2010, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, to his proud parents, John and Sarah Dickens. Tyler was just 12 years old when he passed away on December 28, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Tyler was a vibrant and energetic boy who loved life and had a passion for sports, especially soccer and basketball. He was active in his community, participating in various youth programs and always striving to help others. Tyler was full of life, with a contagious smile and an infectious personality that drew people to him. He was known for his kind heart, his positive outlook on life, and his unwavering determination in everything he did.
Tyler was a loving son, brother, and grandson who cherished his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his parents, John and Sarah Dickens, his sister, Emily Dickens, his paternal grandparents, Robert and Martha Dickens, his maternal grandparents, William and Mary Johnson, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
