Madsen, Valeria E.Valeria E. Madsen, age 90, of 1616 Columbus Street, Manitowoc, died Friday, December 9, 2016 at Northridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Val was born on October 8, 1926 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Mabel (Pautz) Wagner. She worked at Mirro Aluminum and Walmart until her retirement at the age of 85. On June 6, 1953, Val married Carleton G. Madsen, the first couple to be wed at First Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1986. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Val enjoyed spending time at Oneida.Survivors include her three daughters: Debi Jo (Emil) Yindra, Manitowoc; Carla Rae DeBauch and her significant other: Jim Lyons, Manitowoc; Jada (Paul) Hynek, Two Rivers; nine grandchildren: Scott (Jill) Yindra, Mishicot; Douglas Yindra, Manitowoc; Jonathan (Stacey) Yindra, Newton; Shannon DeBauch, Manitowoc; Jessica Ludwig, Manitowoc; Paula DeBauch Manitowoc; Jaime Pettaway, AL; Colleen Conner, AL; Natasha Rosik, AL; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Bucky (Edna) Wagner, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jim (Janice) Madsen, Manitowoc; foster child: Ailene Landers and her son: Roro, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Mabel Wagner; her husband: Carleton Madsen; father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Olive Madsen; one grandson: Jason Andrew Madsen; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Riennie (Ruth) Wagner; Eddie (Elaine) Wagner; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty (Bud) Green.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Pastor Jeremy Vance will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
