Valerie Denise Mike52, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on December 24, 2016. Valerie was born on Wednesday February 19, 1964 in Indianapolis, IN. Valerie graduated from John Marshall High School in 1982 and Naional Business College in 1984. Valerie was employed at Thompson Motor Coach, Inc as the Operations Manager.She is survived by her parents, Benny and Marie Mike; sister Michele "Pam" Mike; brother Benny Mike, Jr.; nieces, Danielle and India Murry; nephew, Jace Mike and great nephew, Mark Huggins.The viewing will be Saturday, December 31 from 12 noon until 4 p.m. in the Craig Funeral Home. A private graveside will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be on January 9, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. TBA.The family would life to thank the entire IU Simon Cancer Center staff for everything they did over the last two years.
