Valerie Cusack Valerie Gene Cusack, 95, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in her apartment at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville. She was born on October 17, 1921 to the late Erlon D. and Faye Baker in Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Cusack was educated in the LA school system. During WWII, Mrs. Cusack served with the Ambulance Corps. Later, she joined the Earl Carroll Vanities as one of their dancers. During her career, she was a fashion consultant for the Kayser-Roth Corporation. She served as past president of the LA chapter of Ikebana International. Mrs. Cusack was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Dr. Robert Cucask (Bobber) of Noblesville; and her brother, Phillip Baker of Los Angeles. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Bowman and husband, Bill of Noblesville; four grandchildren, Teresa, Jenni, Christy and Scott; 13 great-grandchildren; nephews, Philip Baker, Lewis Baker, David Turk and Larry Turk; and nieces, Trish Turk and Nancy Murphy. Cremation will take place through Randall and Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Refuge Christian Church, 11772 East 196th Street in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating.
