Vasco P. Brazil passed away in Petaluma, California on March 16, 2016 at the age of 88. He was born in San Rafael, California and in his teenage years he realized his life passion would be ranching. It was ranching that brought him to Petaluma in 1950, where Vasco and his dad, John, purchased a ranch off Lakeville Highway. This is where he raised his family and remained the rest of his life.

Vasco is survived by four children Joan (Jim) Skelton, Lois (Tom) Deckard, Rich (Laura) Brazil and Dave (Liesje) Brazil. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2pm and held at Adobe Creek Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma, CA 94952. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Vasco’s name to Guide Dogs for the Blind, P.O. Box 151200, San Rafael, California 94915-1200.
