Vaughn Williams, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 1, 2023, in Gwynn Oak, Maryland. He was born on May 20,1969, to Thomas Williams and Denise Hawkins in Buffalo, New York.
Vaughn grew up in Buffalo, New York. Known for making others laugh and protector of his family, Vaughn attended Sweet Home Jr. High School, and Emerson High School. He later moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1996 with his family.
Once settled in Maryland, Vaughn worked a variety of occupations over the years. From cook, to car salesman, to warehouse associate, Vaughn could make friends anywhere he went. He dedicated his time and skills wherever he worked, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Vaughn's hard work and determination allowed him to achieve both personal and professional success.
Vaughn has been married to his wife Felicia for 31 years. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories. Vaughn leaves behind two adoring children, Yvonne Williams and Ebony Mosby.
Vaughn was a proud father, always present and involved in his children's lives. He embraced the joy of being a grandparent to Olivia Mosby, a brother to Damon Williams and spouse Sophia Williams; Tonee' Williams, Lillie Rector and spouse Rodney Rector, Toni Marie Rollins, and Tyree Tyson. He leaves behind his niece Jordyn Williams and several nephews: Romell Tillman, D'andrew Dorsey, Carter Rector and a host of other family and friends.
Behind Vaughn's radiant smile hid a brave heart. His battle with cancer was evident, but he faced it head-on, showcasing his resilience and strength. Despite the challenges thrown his way, he maintained an unwavering spirit, inspiring those around him with his courage. He is and always will be our hero.
Vaughn Williams will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
