KIMMELL — Vera M. Lepper, 81, of Kimmell died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at her home in Kimmell. Mrs. Lepper moved to Kimmell from Fort Wayne 30 years ago. She was born on Jan. 7, 1933, in Fort Wayne to Ralph C. and Mae (Dell) Walker. She was married in 1962 to Robert W. Lepper. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2008. Surviving are seven sons, James W. (Marsha) Lepper of Butler, Charles Lepper of Fort Wayne, Keith A. (Darla) Lepper of Georgia, Carl W. (Cindy) Lepper of Marion, Randy L. Lepper of Churubusco, and Gary L. Lepper and Curt A. Lepper, both of Kimmell; a daughter, Shelley Lepper of Syracuse; three stepsisters, Carolyn Netterouer, Gloria Dixion and Juaniya Phenis; three brothers; a sister; 24 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jimmy Lepper; a great-granddaughter, Nicole Davies; two sisters; and a brother. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Van Horn, officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
