Following Carls' retirement, Judy and Carl moved to Ridgeview Highlands in 2000, and very much enjoyed their apartment as well as many new friends and neighbors. The couple was blessed with three children: Pat (Ed) Whitman, Nancy Dohr (Special friend, Jim Schulte), and Jerry (Chris Metrie) Dohr; her grandchildren, David (Ellen) Whitman, Stephen Whitman (special friend, Bekah Kallas), Amy (Clayton) Weller and Andy Dohr; her great grandchildren, Paul Whitman, Justin and Christoph Weller; and her sister, Marilyn Wanta.
