Vern Smith, 74, of Rockford, Illinois, passed on November 26, 2021. Vern was born on May 17, 1947.
Vern is survived by his younger brothers Clarence and Michael, his beloved wife Sharleen Smith, his son Harold and 6 grandkids.
Vern was a vibrant soul who you could always count on to lighten the room. He was a great piano player and spent his young adult hood traveling and playing in his Jazz band, The Mistines. He is going to be missed and loved by everyone he knew, and appreciate condolences to his family.
His viewing and service will be held on 11/10/2021 at the Honquest Family Funeral Home at 3:30 PM. His Burial is at the Cedar Bluff Cemetery at 6:00 PM
