A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Verna Lee Cartwright, 80, passed on December 04, 2022. She was born to James Johnson and Eunice Johnson in Rusk, Texas on January 14, 1942.
She married Saul Cartwright ( diseased) in 1958 and they lived together in Nacogdoches, Texas. Together they raised 10 children Milton Cartwright, Brenda Wilburn (William Wilburn), Linda Brown (Albertion Brown), Bobby Cartwight, Eunice Cartwright (Tim Pleasant), Tyrone Cartwright (Angela Cartwright), Stacy Cartwright, Tracy Cartwright (diseased), James Cartwright, Michael Cartwright (Jennifer Cartwright). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Verna graduated from Laneville high school.
Verna worked at Layton's Breeder Farm for over 28 years until she retired in 1999 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
