Veronica Ware, born on May 10, 1958, in Opelika, Alabama, to Sarah and her stepfather Cleophus Smith, peacefully passed away, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love and resilience. Raised by her devoted grandparents in Alabama, she later moved to Gary, Indiana, with her parents, where she embraced her education and began to build her life.

Veronica met and married Ricky Goldman, welcoming two wonderful daughters, Natasha Goldman and Rikki Ford-Bone. After 12 years, their paths diverged, and Veronica found love again with her life partner, Cory S. House. Together, they celebrated the birth of her son, Dakota Goldman, and she embraced the role of stepmother to Cory House Jr., Shannon McKinney, and Brandy House.

While nurturing her family, Veronica achieved her bachelor’s degree in business and enjoyed a fulfilling career, managing a phlebotomy and dialysis facility in Gary for many years. In 2013, she moved to Arizona, where she explored various entrepreneurial ventures, showcasing her talents and determination.

Veronica found immense joy in hosting family gatherings and celebrating holidays with loved ones. Her home was a warm haven for family and friends. Deeply spiritual, she instilled a strong love for God in her children and grandchildren, which helped her navigate life’s challenges with grace.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, Veronica was known for her humor and creativity. She had a passion for travel, gardening, fashion, and exploring new culinary experiences alongside her husband, Corey. Her zest for life was evident in everything she did, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She is survived by her siblings, Cleophus Smith, Bishop Carl (Adrienne) Smith, and Bernard (Rosland) Smith; her cherished children, Natasha Goldman, Rikki (Frank) Bone, Cory House Jr., Dakota (Tiara) Goldman, Shannon McKinney, and Brandy House; and her grandchildren, Afton Isaiah Smith, Kenneth Ford III, Ashley Smith, Khalece Ford, Nyles-Christopher Smith, Kamryn Ford, Kolby Ford, Kristina Ford, Nevaeh Goldman, Kylie, and Kelsee Goldman, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
