Vi L. Barnett86, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 5, 2016. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Lincoln County, KY, to the late Dewey and Rena (Ballard) Sowders. Vi was employed as the Assistant Director of Transportation at Metro Bus Company for 25 years. She was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene and volunteered for 20 years at St. Francis Hospital.Vi is survived by her daughter Nancy (Rick) Kusky; brother Monty (Laura) Sowders; four grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her parents, daughter Rhonda Armstrong and sister Bernice Bramlett.Services for Vi will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
