April 3, 1930 - November 4, 2016Following several years of challenging health issues, Victor Mazuca, Sr. died peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2016. Victor, born on April 3, 1930, was a life-long resident of San Antonio, only leaving his esteemed city to proudly serve his country as a Marine during the
Korean War. Once a Marine, always a Marine, Victor continued their traditions of loyalty and responsibility during his 30+ years with the U.S. Postal Service and more significantly as the patriarch of his family. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Josephine, and his two beloved sons, Victor Jr. and Paul. To honor and cherish his memory is his wife of 23 years, Elida; his daughter Diane and his much-loved grandchildren: Adam (Frauke), Becca (Johnny Griffiths), Anne (Brandon Drescher), William, Sarah and Matthew. He is also survived by two sisters, Janie Delgado and Rebecca Garcia, numerous nieces and nephews and many step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.The family will welcome visitors on Wednesday, November 9th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.A SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2016 AT 10:00 AM IN THE CHAPEL AT PORTER LORING ON McCULLOUGH AVE. followed by interment in San Fernando #2 Cemetery.You are invited to signthe guestbook at
