Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South with Brother Mike Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Weatherford, Coty Ivey, Lance Outland, Lon Outland, Mark Outland, Andrew Myers, and Lee Glover.Vida was born on July 12, 1924 in Stamford, Texas to the late James Lee Roy and Clara Mable Tidwell. She loved writing poetry as a hobby and was a cosmetologist for 26 years. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Lanny Glover; siblings, Travis Tidwell, Doris Schrock, and Dan Tidwell. Survivors include her children, Travis Glover, Theresa Miller and her husband, Earl, and Kenney Glover and his wife, Terri; grandchildren, Lee Glover, Michael Weatherford, Tiffany Ivey, Taylor Myers, Kyle Glover, Nikki Glover, Lon Outland, Lance Outland, and Mark Outland; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Patsy Blakey, Jo Ann Turner, and Sherryn Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
