Vietta Reniece Bogoniewski was called home to the Lord on August 4th 2024 due to sudden illness. She was born on February 16, 1959 in Buffalo Ny To Mary Effe Hamilton (Bailey) and Curtis Edgar Bailey at Buffalo City Hospital. She was raised in the church and delivered kindness to all she met. Vietta worked for 25 years as a school bus driver for various companies including Laidlaw and Attica Bus Service until she retired in 2011. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Vietta attended Fosdick-Masten Park High School and graduated in 1977.In her free time, Vietta enjoyed going to church, singing in the renowned New Kings of Harmony which she was a member for 20 years, crotchet, watching movies and her favorite show The Waltons. Vietta met Thaddeus Bogoniewski (Husband) in 1984 and married in 1991.Together, they raised five wonderful children: Tiana Terry, Curtis Bailey, Allan Terry, Martinez Bogoniewski and Thaddeus Bogoniewski IV. Vietta was also a proud Grandmother to 12 Grandchildren and a Great Grandmother to 4. Vietta leaves behind her family, her Sister(Brenda Dennis) a host of cousins, and her niece and nephew. Her family meant everything to her.
Vietta was a kind soul who touched the lives of many with her generosity and warmth and singing voice. She will be remembered for her love for her family, her strong work ethic, and her gentle spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Vietta has left behind an everlasting legacy of love, motherhood, friendship and family. May she rest in peace.
