Nast, Vincent Frederick, Jr. "Bud" Of Mequon. Entered into Eternal Life on Monday, September 19, 2016, at the age of 99. He was born on February 5, 1917 in Marblehead, Wisconsin. His parents were Vincent Frederick Nast Sr. and Ramona Reisen Nast. In 1935 he graduated from Milwaukee Country Day School, and in 1939 he graduated from Brown University, Providence, R.I. On September 4, 1939, he married Mildred Mae Benedict and they enjoyed 68 years together. Bud dedicated his entire working life to the Western Lime Corporation beginning as an accountant and finishing as President and Chairman of the Board. Fred was also a college wrestler, football player, world traveler, storyteller, avid tennis player and woodworker. His devotion to his family and friends shone through in his kindness, wisdom, good humour and generosity. Ever the romantic he found love late in life with the late 'Noonie', Suzanne LeFeber, a long time family friend and kindred spirit who he shared several happy years in marriage with after the death of Mildred in 2007. Fred was the proud father of Fred Nast III, John D Overholt Nast and Barbara Elizabeth Hughes. Loving "Poppo" of grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Kyle, Chris, Anthony, Christo, Sophie and Katy and great grand-children Molly, Joey, Emily, Grace, Lauren, Ingrid, Andrew, Maika, Oliver, Olive and Evie. Friends may greet the family on Monday, September 26th, at 10:00AM -12:00PM followed by the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Newcastle Place Chapel, 12600 North Port Washington Road, Mequon. Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Donations are kindly received by the and The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.
