Virginia was beloved of Christ and her husband, Ed, her son, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Raised in Belton, Mo., she was proud that she graduated in 1940 among the top 5 in her class and determinedly remained resolved that this was printed in the Kansas City Times as well. A lifelong baseball fan, Virginia could tell you jersey numbers of all the Royals players even when she got her son's names mixed up with one another. A dyed in the wool Democrat to the end; a believer in her true Savior, Jesus Christ, she prayed continually for the hurting she'd heard about on the nightly news. Though she became unable to attend in recent years, her heart was still gladdened by her membership in the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. Her years in the lay Witness Missionary movement were her happiest and most adventurous. Preceded in eternal life by her father and mother, Oneita M (Sprinkle) and Erle D. Nethaway, brother, Charles Nethaway and son, Gary Brown. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, (Thelton) Ed Law, son, Richard Brown (Jan); grandchildren, Ethan (Mandy), Jeff, Morgan and Lauren (Jeff) and her great-grandchildren, Blake, Teagan and Brett. In the last days, she received blessed comfort from the wonderful people of Crossroads Hospice. Arr.: Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW Third St., Lee's Summit, (816) 524-3700.
