Virginia Mae CorderZANESVILLE: Virginia Mae Corder, 91, of Zanesville died at 1:25 AM Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Chapel Grove Assisted Living, Heath OH.She was born on August 17, 1923 in Zanesville, the daughter of Elden E. and Blanche Baughman Winn.Virginia was a lifetime resident of Zanesville and graduated from Philo High School as valedictorian of her class. She was a former business women and along with her late husband, Lee Corder, co-owned and operated Corder's Appliance Center on Maple Ave in Zanesville for 39 years until May of 1993. Virginia was a member of the Central Trinity Methodist Church, Soroptimist International of Zanesville, 65 year member and past Matron of the Olive Branch Chapter #251 of Duncan Falls, Ladies Shrine, Thais club of Zanesville and a 75 year member of the Riverside Grange. She is survived by her children, Thomas Lee (Carole) Corder of Zanesville, Cheryl Corder-Risner of Heath and Robert (Ann) Corder of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Janet Risner-Bolin and husband, Chip Bolin of Charlotte, NC, Michael (Cori) Risner of Dublin, David (Sandie) Corder of Macedonia and Kim Corder-Mangum and husband Ryan Mangum of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two great grandchildren, Trent Risner and Colton Mangum; and a sister, Opal Roberts of Dorset. Her family will cherish memories of her devotion to family as she made every holiday gathering a special family memory.Virginia was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband, Nathaniel Lee Corder; a son-in-law, Jeffrey Kenneth Risner; and a brother, Earl Bennett Winn.Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm & Order of Eastern Star services will be at 3:45 pm on Tuesday, December 02, 2014 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 03, with Rev.
