Giese, Virginia (Ginny) Mary Virginia Mary Giese, 86, passed away June 26, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado while surrounded by her loving family. Ginny was born on March 25, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI to Ralph and Isabel (Nee Bezie) Gollwitzer. She married Gene Giese on October 14, 1950 and raised four children, owned a small business and contributed to their community. Together they retired from Nasco International in 1994 and moved to Colorado Springs to enjoy life in the Rocky Mountains. Ginny was a charming, witty and loving woman, whose independence and strength was an inspiration to all she encountered. She enjoyed trips to the zoo to visit the giraffes, traveling (especially to Las Vegas) and spending time with her cherished family. Survivors include sister, Beverly Kulmann of Franklin, WI; children, Linda (Gerald) Anderson of Irving, TX, Janet (Sally) Giese of Colorado Springs, Jeffrey (Candy) Giese of West Bend, WI and Ralph Giese of Colorado Springs; grandchildren Alan (Noelle) Giese, Donald (Stacey) Giese, and Ashley (Alex) Tyuluman; great-grandchildren Damian, Celeste, Gunner, George, little Ginny and her beloved dog Sammy as well as an aunt, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Isabel Gollwitzer, husband Gene Giese, brothers-in-law, John Kulmann, Louis Giese, Donald Giese and sister-in-law, Marcella Giese. A private family service will be conducted in Colorado Springs with a memorial service and inurnment planned for family and friends in October in Milwaukee, WI.
