Virginia Ojeda Hebert, 67, of Poplarville, Mississippi died Sunday, February 12, 2017. She was born to Arthur Ojeda and Virginia Ojeda on August 16, 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She married Sterling James Hebert in 1979 and they lived together in Poplarville, MS.

Virginia (Ginny) was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother A.J. Ojeda, and her best friend MaryAnn Brignac.  She is survived by her husband Sterling, 8 children: Malissa Masoner (Jay), Sean Keenan (Lauren), Matthew Keenan (Kelly), Sarah Hebert (Keesha Carnes), Tave' Hebert (Mary), Sterling Hebert (Kim), Stephanie Pritchard (Mike), and Shirelle Chimenti (Brian), her sister, Alledia Cook, 29 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of "children", who simply called her "Ma".

Her last few weeks were spent the same way the rest of her life was lived, surrounded by the ones she loved, laughing, singing, and reminiscing about a life well spent.
