Vivian B. Glover SPARTANBURG, SC-- Vivian Branson Glover, 100, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. Vivian Kathlyn Branson Glover was born on March 14, 1916, in Crestmont, NC to the late Edwin Ferris Branson and Vera Kathlyn Frederick Branson. She grew up in Canton, NC and was a graduate of Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC. Vivian was married to the late Clarence Howard Glover and spent most of her life in Spartanburg, SC. She was the oldest living member of Trinity United Methodist Church where, for 50 years, she kept attendance for the John Nicholson Sunday School Class. She was also a member of TUMS (Trinity United Methodist Seniors) and the Fine Arts Club of Spartanburg. Survivors include her daughters, Ann G. Broom (Quentin) of Spartanburg, SC and Mary Lynn G. Clark (Wayne) of Macon, GA; daughter-in-law, Dianne W. Glover of Hilton Head, SC; grandchildren, Clarence H. Glover, III, Quentin Broom, Jr. (Amy), Russell Broom, and Kelli C. Hill, all of Atlanta, GA and Terrell Clark, Jr. of Macon, GA; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her infant brother, Durwood Branson; and her son, Clarence H. Glover, Jr. A cryptside service is being planned for a later date.
