Vivian Stribling, our beloved mother, grandmother, and partner, passed away on February 16, 2025, in Witchita, Kansas, United States. She was born on November 7, 1942, to David Floyd Salmon and Mildred Magadelene Trammell in Gardner, Kansas Who proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by two sisters. Barbara Jean Tillery and Mary Ethel Green.

Vivian was proceeded in death by her partner, Eldon Zielsdorf, they have two loving children, Allen L. Zielsdorf with spouse Kelly of Ottawa, Ks, and David W. Zielsdorf of Gravois Mills Mo. She was a doting grandmother to four grandchildren.

She later married Jack Stribling, and they Divorced. Vivian leaves behind four siblings. Sister's Dixie Mae Williams of Fredonia, Ks. Nina Hickox with spouse Marvin of Benedict, Ks. Brothers Daniel Floyd Salmon of Fredonia, Ks. And David Floyd Salmon with spouse Marcia of Witchita, Ks.

Vivian studied at Wellsville School after graduating from eighth grade high school. She was a dedicated student and continued her education with passion.

Some of Vivian's favorite pastimes included taking care of her chickens, volunteering, and being an active member of her church community. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all those she met.

On the day of her passing, Vivian succumbed to natural causes of old age. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Vivian.

Marvin and I will greatly miss her. I loved my sister and we did a lot together, and I miss those times we had. But, knowing she is happy with Jesus helps to ease the pain of missing her so much. Dance with Jesus, Sis, that is what you wanted to do. Love you, Nina.
