Vivian Marvene FoorLANCASTER: Vivian Marvene Foor, 93, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 in the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on January 17, 1921 in Lancaster a daughter of the late Dewey and Leona (Morgan) Bixler. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1938. Vivian loved both flower and vegetable gardening and baking and cooking.She is survived by her son, Larry Foor; daughter Linda Salyers both of Lancaster; a grandson Michael (Deborah Vitt) Foor of Canal Winchester; a granddaughter, Michelle (Lisa Alley) Foor of Columbus; a brother, Gary (Gloria) Bixler; two sisters, Marilyn Alford and Marcia Dennison all of Lancaster; four step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Foor in 1989; brothers, Carl "Todd", Robert and Fred Bixler; sisters, Geneva Brady, Josephine Norton, Gwendolyn Bixler and Phyllis Bixler and a son-in-law, Darrell Salyers.Funeral Services will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Township Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO BOX 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515 in Vivian's memory.The family would like to thank Dr. David Scoggin and the staff at Fairfield Medical Center for their wonderful care.
