Wakeeta Lee Daniels Louis-Jeune, 35, of Harrisburg, PA, transitioned into eternity unexpectedly on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Harrisburg. Inherently loving and extremely creative, Wakeeta - affectionately known as “Keeta” - was our Angel on Earth.

Keeta was born in Harrisburg, PA on June 30, 1983, the daughter of Barry A. Daniels, Jr. and Tina Daniels.  She was a 2001 graduate of Harrisburg's Dauphin County Technical School, and received an associate degree from Thompson Institute. Keeta was also a member of Bridge of Faith International Ministries, Harrisburg, as well as a state certified foster-mother.

Keeta was a creative nurturer who loved making people happy. She was a skilled floral designer, as well as a hair, make-up, and fashion stylist for her community. She touched the lives of so many young people and families through her work with the church and the foster care system. Keeta's artistry was her passion and personal ministry.

Wakeeta was preceded in death and joyfully greeted by her father, Barry A. Daniels, Jr.; her paternal grandparents, Barry Sr. and Frances (Roy) Daniels; her maternal grandfather, Paul Hoch; and her nephew, Maliq A.P. Bailey. She leaves her daughters Adrianna and Monica Louis-Jeune; her mother, Tina (Hoch) Daniels; her siblings: Cheri (Prate), Barry III, Shareen (Ron), Karreem, and Frances (Darnell); her sister/cousin, Nicole; several Godchildren, and a host of family and friends to celebrate her life and her love.

The life of Wakeeta Lee Daniels Louis-Jeune will be celebrated in Harrisburg on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Bridge of Faith International Ministries, 4425 Chambers Hill Rd, with a viewing from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
