We mourn the passing of Walidah Murphy, who was born on May 1, 1977, and left this world on July 3, 2024. Walidah resided in Savannah, Georgia, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Anderson and Kim Hodge. She was the loving spouse of Randy, with whom she was married for many years. Together, they were blessed with four children: Koyah Shipman, Kayah Shipman, Nahkebrah Coach, and Luisa Shipman.

Walidah was a devoted mother and grandmother to her five grandchildren. She was a graduate of Coffee High School and furthered her education in Phoenix, Arizona. Known for her kind and caring nature, Walidah spent her days taking care of others, whether it was her own family or older individuals in need.

Walidah's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
