Walter Summey, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, in San Bernardino, California, at the age of 81. He was born on October 3, 1943, to Edward Summey Sr and Ana Smith, who welcomed him into the world with open arms.

Walter was a dedicated father to his two children, Veronica D. Garcia (Summey) and Leonte M. Summey. He adored his six grandchildren, who brought so much joy and laughter into his life.

Walter was known for his work at Summey's Shoe Repair, where he helped countless customers find the perfect fit for their favorite pair of shoes. He was also actively involved in the Salvation Army organization, spreading love and kindness wherever he went.

In his free time, Walter pursued his passion for music as a singer and songwriter. His melodious voice could always be heard singing tunes that lifted the spirits of everyone around him.

Walter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he may no longer be with us, his memory will forever live on in our hearts and minds.
