Walter Eugene Reynolds, age 92, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday January 12, 2024. He was born May 28, 1931 in Stearns, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Sue Reynolds, mother Grace King Reynolds, father and stepmother Baston and Lillis Reynolds, sister Nora Lee Souder, brothers Raymond and Carl Reynolds, stepsister Glenna Siler, stepbrothers Clifford and Omer Lee Siler, sister-in-laws Joyce Brossart and Doris Combs, and Great Grandson Aaron Pfenninger.
He is Survived by his children Terry (Peggy) Reynolds, Debra (Gerry) Dames, Diana (Jim) Elam, Robert (Miranda) Reynolds, and Darlene (Cliff) Reynolds. Grandkids Stephanie (Erich) Manteuffel, Nicole (Randy) Earley, Brandy (Kevin) Clark, Randy Reynolds, Dan Reynolds, Chad (Jenni) Pfenninger, Steve Pfenninger, Brittney (Michael) Gray, Brian (Lindsay) Pfenninger, Eva (Chris) Mauntel, Angeline Dames, David (Lisa) Elam, Jeffery (Ashley) Elam, Alisha Reynolds, Nickolas (Jacob) Reynolds, Meranda (Cody) Freeman, Catherine Reynolds, and Tia (Shauncey) Reynolds. Great Grandchildren Riley, Sawyer, Berkley, Jade, Achilles, Dean, Arielle, Erin, Adriana, Luke, Logan, Liam, Arianna, Claira, Evelyn, Isaac, Hannah, Hailey, James, Atlas, and Daylend. Great great grandchildren Trenton, Trevor, Willow, and Leo. A brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Marie Spurlock and numerous nieces and nephews.
Throughout his journey through life, he often lent a helping hand to those in need, showcasing his compassionate nature. He enjoyed being with his family, watching Ohio State football, reading books, playing cards and the lottery, traveling and taking walks. He always had a sense of humor and everyone loved him. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday Jan 27th at Cincinnati Church of Christ, 4220 E Galbraith Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45236, from 4:30 PM - 7 PM with a short service beginning at 5:30. If you would like to, please wear his favorite colors, Red and Grey, as we remember Walter’s loves in life! We will be sharing some of his favorite foods. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cincinnati Church of Christ. Walter's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him, a testament to a life well-lived.
