Walter Francis KaneSimi Valley, CAWalter F. Kane, 89, of Simi Valley, passed away on November 10, 2016, in Simi Valley. Walter was born on November 19, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Frank and Mary Kane. Walter was a Ventura County resident for 26 years coming from Philadelphia, PA where he was a Plumbing Plan Examiner (Retired) for the City of Philadelphia. Walter was very proud of the fact that he was a WWII veteran and that he served with General Douglas Mac Arthur in the Supreme Allied Command General Headquarters(GHQ) Walter enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery every week. He is preceded in death by his wife Norma although they had no children of their own. Walter is survived by his nephew Michael McGuigan and his wife Rebecca; niece Patricia Tomlin and her husband Roy; nephew Donald McGuigan and his wife Connie and niece Jacqueline McLean and several great nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Simi Valley.
