Walter Theodore Doperalski RACINE Age 91, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Walter was born on January 30, 1924 to Frank and Anna (nee: Posiezek) Doperalski in Racine. Walter honorably served our country in the Asiatic Pacific Theater during World War II with the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Black on March 12, 1994. Walter was a longtime member of Racine Bible Church where he served as a greeter, usher, and deacon. He was a member of the Rose Society along with various garden associations. Walter will be dearly missed by his wife, Lorraine Doperalski; daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Thom Allison of Bellevue, WA; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Christine Doperalski of Huntington Beach, CA; his sisters, Marion Lascelle of Oshkosh, WI, and Frances Brooks of Omro, WI; his granddaughter, Rachel Doperalski; and many step-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other dear relatives. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Doperalski; and his brothers, Raymond, Louis, Felix, and Alex. Funeral services for Walter will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Racine Bible Church at 4:30 PM. Walters son, Rev. Gary Doperalski, and Rev. Guy Glad will officiate. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 3 PM until the time of service at 4:30 PM. Walter will be buried at Mound Cemetery with full military honors.
