Atherton, Wanda Faye (Reust) 80, passed away on January 13, 2016, in Arlington, TX. She was born on May 2, 1935, in Isabella, OK, daughter of Gilbert and Minnie (Wahl) Reust. She is preceded in death by her love-of-her-life husband, Gordon L. Atherton; parents, Gilbert and Minnie Reust; and sister, Mary Arnold Gisick. She is survived by 2 sons, Marvin D. Atherton of Dacula, GA, and Russell K. Atherton of Arlington, TX; daughter-in-law, Cynthia L. Atherton; beloved grandson, Adam R. Atherton of Dacula, GA; sisters, Velma Naber of Peyton, CO, Carol Wall of Wichita and Peggy Saltkill of Kinsley, KS. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday, January 15, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, at New Hope Christian Church, 1400 S. George Washington Dr., Wichita, KS. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
