Wanda was born on February 16, 1958. Wanda grew up in the town of East Point, Ga with four siblings (Marty, Rochelle, Mike, and Virgil) and parents (Billy, Lynn). She attended Russell High school and graduated in 1976. Shortly after high school she married Paul Till and together they had two children (Katie, Jerry). Wanda and Paul divorced after 17 years and Wanda became a devoted single mom and career woman. Wanda drove as a special needs bus driver for Clayton county public schools for 26 amazing years and leaves behind a great legacy of love and professionalism. Wanda would later remarry to Thomas Mainor in 2008 and they remained married until her passing. Wanda also leaves behind five step children (Nadia, Thomias, John, Thomas Jr, Chelsea). Wanda was known for her big heart and love of cooking. Wanda continued her passion for driving special needs children until her passing March 16,2021. She leaves behind a host of loved ones and memories.

So sorry just now seeing this obit. I was a teacher at Edmonds Elementary during years that her two children Katie and Jerry attended. I knew Wanda by her attendance she gave to both the PTA and the teachers she knew there. I enjoyed having conferences with her and her children. Wanda was a very sweet person and loved Edmonds and the ppl she associated with there at school. May the Lord bless her and keep her. Sincerely,Sharon Carden
