Wanda Jean WhiteBIG LAKEWanda Jean Kindel White, 80, of Big Lake, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Sept. 5, 2017, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.Memorial service is at 2 p.m. Sept. 23, 2017, in Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel, 906 S. Gregg Street, Big Spring, Texas 79720.Wanda was born on March 30, 1937, to Cecil and Harriet (Bobbi) Kindel in Lovington, New Mexico.Wanda married the love of her life, Donald O. White, on July 15, 1956. Together they owned AAA Testers, Inc., for 22 years. Wanda had a head for numbers and managed the accounting for their business. She had a passion for politics, was a fantastic cook and had a special talent for making creme pies. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wanda enjoyed fashion and jewelry, socializing with family and friends and spending summers in Ruidoso, New Mexico with her husband and friends from Section C.Wanda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald O. White; her son, Frank E. White and wife Lynn of Big Lake, Texas; daughters Julie A. White Jones and husband Charles (Chuck) of Big Lake, Texas, Deborah K. White of McKinney, Texas and Donna J. White Morgan and husband Jesse of Big Spring, Texas; one sister, Linda Kindel King of Odessa, Texas; her grandchildren, Destiny O. Rohmfeld of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Joshua B. White and wife Elizabeth of Longview, Texas, Hilary D. White of Amarillo, Texas, Katy L. White of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jared A. Jones and wife Tiffany of Big Lake, Texas, Brandon T. Jones of Big Lake, Texas, Colter S. Morgan and wife Caitlin of Midland, Texas and Jessi Rose Morgan of Big Spring, Texas; and her great-grandchildren, Eli and Jackson White of Longview, Texas. Wanda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil E. and Bobbi Kindel; and her brothers, Melvin Douglas Kindel and his wife, Marilyn and Kenneth E.
