Mother will be remembered for her beautiful sewing and her many quilts. She loved to save money and pay tithing. She received many blessings and had many stories to tell. Mother was a good cook and we all loved her German chocolate cake and her famous shrimp salad. Mother was a member of the 24th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a wonderful group of friends in Richmond, Cove and Brigham City.Wanda is survived by her three children: Val Deen (Robert) Hendricks, Brigham City; Margaret (LaVern) Talbot, Preston, Idaho; and Blaine Bud Skeen, Preston, Idaho. Warner; and one stepsister, Camilla (Jim) Gamble.Mother, this is for you: God saw that you were getting tired and your time on earth was over, so He put his loving arms around you and whispered, "Come home to me!" A golden heart stopped beating. Hardworking sewing hands lay to rest. With tearful eyes we watched you go; although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. God broke our hearts to prove to us that you were the best; we will all miss you dearly. The Skeen family would like to thank all the special people from Love Hospice who have supported Mother with such kindness, and especially now in our time of need.Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
