Warren Gene Cooper, born August 3rd, 1969, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Pueblo, Colorado on February 23rd, 2021. Warren was born in San Pedro, California, the first of two sons to Gene and Joyce Cooper, his brother being Vince Cooper, and is survived by all. Warren served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman providing treatment to troops fighting in Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War and dedicated his post-military life as a proud veteran working in the medical field alongside patients and providers to bring comfort and hope to so many people.
An admirer of movies and music, Warren loved to imagine all the possibilities of his life and often went to great lengths to make them a reality. He was a man of humility but also of courage and altruism, forgiveness, and understanding. He enjoyed reading and absolutely loved writing about his journeys, thoughts and experiences, crafting sentences filled with prose, reflection and hope. He was an advocate for the sick and the impoverished and his willingness to help anyone in need knew no threshold. “Cooper”, as he loved to be called, impacted the hearts and lives of countless people across the United States and indeed the world during his time on this earth, and we remember him for the dedication and drive he had to the human cause. May he rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.
