Waylon Jessie Broussard, 45, went missing from an offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico on April 3, 2019. A Memorial Service to honor him will be celebrated by Deacon Bill Vincent at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28th, at the Woodman of the WorldLodge, 319 W. Woodman Road, Abbeville, Louisiana.
Waylon is survived by his parents Jessie Broussard and Betty Theall of Abbeville; his five children: Jacob Doucet and his wife, Tiffany, of Mamou, Seth Stout and his wife,Tori, of Erath, Hillary Brasseaux and her fiancé, Aaron Greene, Waylon “PJ” Broussard, Jr., all of Abbeville, and Isaiah Gage of Baton Rouge; hisfive grandchildren: Callie and Jacob Doucet, Jr., of Mamou, Olivia Greene of Abbeville,and Lane andCole Stout of Erath; his brother Lawrence Duhon, Jr.; sisters Dawn Guidry, Damitri Istre, and Nicole Steen; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by siblings Serena Duhon and Gannon Broussard andgrandparents, Lenis and Enice Theall (Maternal) and Lotard and Helen Broussard (Paternal).
