LIGONIER — Wayne Frame, age 96, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 2:35 p.m. at Avalon Village in Ligonier. He was born on July 4, 1917, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to George Edward and Pauline (Farra) Frame. He married Margaret Ellen Westrick on April 24, 1943, in Chicago, Ill. She preceded him in death in 1994. Mr. Frame then married Helen Seniff in 1998. She preceded him in death June of 2005. Wayne graduated in 1936 from Central Catholic High School. He went on to serve his country honorably during World War II in the Navy. He was discharged in 1945. Mr. Frame worked for I. T. T. and retired after 39 years of service in 1979. Survivors include six children, Lowell (Sheri) Frame of Carmel, Ind., Neil (Marie) Frame of Golden, Colo., Richard (Anita) Frame of Fort Wayne, Ind., Toni (Charles) Thompson of Chardon, Ohio, Susan Saunders of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Susan Mayberry of Syracuse, Ind.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; and a great-grandchild. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Ind., with Pastor Phil Schamehorn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier, Ind. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home.
