OKEECHOBEE, FL - Wayne Francis Molitor, 82, of Okeechobee, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home. Wayne was born on March 31, 1933 in Racine, Wisconsin. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. A lifetime electrician, Wayne retired as a Business Manager from the Racine IBEW Local 430 in 1995. He retired to his beloved north woods near Wisconsin Rapids where he enjoyed Lake Arrowhead golf, feeding wild life, and visiting with family and friends. He recently moved to Okeechobee, Florida in July, 2015 where he made many friends at the Ancient Oaks Trailer Park playing bingo and walking his beloved dog Calloway while proudly displaying his Green Bay Packers flag in the warm Florida sunshine. Wayne enjoyed deer hunting, NASCAR races and sports. Wayne was a loving father and proud dad of Scott (Lynn) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brett (Reggie) of Huntington, Indiana, Kelly of Racine, Wisconsin, and Wayne (Christine) of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Wayne had deep love and affection for his nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers Donald (Muriel) Molitor of Union Grove, Wisconsin and Okeechobee, Florida and Gerald (Rita) Molitor of Woodbury, Tennessee and his sister Sandy (Larry) Steuck of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 7:00PM at the Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 4:00PM until 7:00PM, at the funeral home. Burial will full Military Honors; will take place on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 3:00PM at the So. Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery.
