Wayne NordinCamarillo, CAWayne (Vinnie) Jerry Nordin 85, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on July 31, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on March 14, 1932 in Willmar, MN. Wayne served in the Navy from 1952-1956 on the USS Midway. Perhaps the best 4 years of his life. He was employed with the United States Post office for 33 years. Upon retiring he worked for Walmart for 10 years, building friendships and bicycles. Wayne is survived by his four children, Jani (Larry) Hamlin, Carri Sullivan, Joe Nordin, John Nordin; 3 step children, Paul Rossi (Alex), Steven Rossi (Joe), Colleen (John) Hunter; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving wife, Patricia, devoted sister Maxine Scott and brother Doug Nordin. Wayne loved his grandchildren more than anything. He always wore a shirt with a pocket filled with special treats and they knew to look there.
