Steinberg, Wendy B.Wendy B. Steinberg, age 58, of Reedsville, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by her loving family.The former Wendy Helgeson was born on December 22, 1958, in Manitowoc, daughter of John Helgeson and the late Irene (Delaney) Helgeson. Wendy graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1977. On April 9, 1983, Wendy was married to Peter Steinberg III at Faith Lutheran Church in Valders. Wendy was employed at Denmark State Bank in Whitelaw for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Wendy enjoyed baking, collecting cook books, spending time with her family and friends and going up north to their cabin.Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years: Peter Steinberg III, Reedsville; three children: Jason (Hallie) Steinberg, Whitelaw; Darcie (Andy) Bauknecht, VA; Phillip Steinberg and his special friend: Sage, Milwaukee; her father: John Helgeson, Manitowoc; two sisters: Lynn (Terry) Owen, Sheboygan; Julie (Jim) Hess, Sheboygan; one brother: Daniel (Mary) Helgeson, Rothschild, WI; one sister-in-law: DeeDee Helgeson, Reedsburg, WI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother: Irene "Betty" Helgeson; one brother: Dr. Tim Helgeson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Peter J. and Beverly Steinberg II.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 225 Roosevelt Street, Valders. The Rev. Nicole Welke and Rev. Erica Cunningham will officiate with burial to follow at Our Savior Lutheran Cemetery, Valders. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Wendy's name. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting with funeral arrangements.
