We are saddened to announce the passing of Wesley Newby, 65, of Newport News, Virginia. Born on October 15, 1958, Wesley lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and a passion for helping others. He was a dedicated member of his community, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Wesley will be remembered for his warm smile, his unwavering sense of humor, and his unwavering loyalty to those he held dear. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.

Wesley enjoyed cooking on the grill with his friends and family, fishing and watching his Sunday football. But most importantly he loved his family.

Wesley Newby was preceded in death by his mother Coteila Newby, father Albert Newby and three brothers, Dernell Newby, Haywood Newby, Pernell Newby and Linwood Eley.

Wesley leaves to cherish his memory: One daughter Jessica Davis of Newport News, his significant other/ Girlfriend Pasty and her (4 Children) VA, Two Grandchildren Amiyah and Josiah Strickland of Newport News Va, 5 siblings: one sister Virginia Savage of North Carolina, 4 brothers: Doctor Newby (Mary) of Carrolton VA, Larry Newby(Jeanette) of Carrolton Va, Albert Newby Sr. (Slina) of Georgia., Adolph Newby of Newport News VA. Nieces and Nephews: Tracey Newby Brown, Stacey Newby, Doc Newby Jr., Andrew Savedge, Robert Savedge, Tory Savedge, Jackie Williams, Tawanda Crenshaw, Albert Newby lll, Krystal Buck Newby, Jivan Newby, Jasmine Newby, Tywanda Newby Robinson, Haywood Newby Jr., Kayla Williams, Rodney Newby, PJ Newby, Sherri' Eley Grier, and Dikeita Eley Williams, and a host of cousins and many friends.
