Goff, WesleyWesley R Goff, age 88, of Bellevue, passed away on October 30, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 16, 1928 in Highland Park MI to William and Adeline (Rotella) Goff.Wesley was a hard-working, proud employee of the United States Government, having first a 21 year career in the Marine Corp, where he achieved the rank of Warrant Officer in the Dispersing Division, followed by 21 years as a US Postal Clerk in Green Bay. As a dedicated Marine, he earned several awards, including a Good Conduct Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, and a Vietnam Campaign Medal. He served in both the Vietnam and Korean Wars.He loved being in the outdoors, and was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as an accomplished golfer. He had 3 hole in one shots in his lifetime, the last of which was on the fifteenth hole at Brown County. He shared his passion for golf with three of his children and many golf buddies.Wesley is survived by his sons, David Goff of Green Bay and Scott (Laura) Goff of Huntersville NC; daughters, Sandra Mayasich of Minnetonka, MN and Roxanne (Michael) Frick of Cedarburg, WI; siblings, Dorothy (Ken) Phelps of Pasadena, MD and Joe (Marian) Baun of Buffalo, NY; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his loving daughter, Valerie Jean Acker; his parents and three siblings, Don, Bill and Shirley.Lyndahl Funeral Home is assisting the family.
