RACINE - Wiladron 'Aunt Sista' 'Willie' Pulliam-Boykin, 74, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011, after a long battle of chronic illnesses with her family by her side at Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis. She was born on July 15, 1937, in Okolona, Miss. to the late Willie and Adess Pulliam. She lived and attended school in Okolona, Miss. On November 22, 1955, she married S.A. 'Pat' Boykin in Chickasaw, Miss. The two later relocated to Racine and to this union were born four children. She worked and was recognized for her hard work at Warren Industries until retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory four loving, faithful children, Samuel (Mattie) Boykin, Carolyn (Terry) McClelland, Tyrone (Peggy) and Terrance Boykin, all of Racine. She also leaves behind eight sisters, Adlena Pulliam of Grand Rapids, Mich. Lake Neal, Flazell Pulliam, and Willie Jewel Bafford of Okolona, Miss., Susie (James) Patton of Beldon, Miss., Helen (Gene) Walton, and Wyoming Pulliam of St. Louis, Mo., and Mildred (Robin) Lee of Newport News, Va.; three brothers, Lovie C. (Mary) Pulliam of Okolona, Miss., Caster Del Pulliam, and Zeno (Earlene) Pulliam of Tupelo, Miss.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is survived by her grandchildren, Tahirah, Sha'Meeka, Anthony, LaShonda (Vivian), and Kierra; and four great-grandchildren Zamiria, Ciara, Christopher, and Jaden. She is further survived by many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Adess Pulliam; her husband, S.A. 'Pat' Boykin; and a host of other relatives. Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 1120 Grand Avenue, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tony Visor officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
