On September 2, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY, Myrtle Potter introduced her son Wilbert Smith to the world.

From a young age, Wilbert was a go getter. He was very handy and enjoyed fixing things such as appliances and electronics. Wilbert would later be nicknamed "Pepsi" because he worked for the company. Once meeting Ethel Robertson, Wilbert introducd his own 10 children to the world: Will, Irene, Jo-Anne, Willard, Keith, Wayne, Bernard, Eddie, Myrtle and Mary. He was a proud father who adored each and everyone of his children.

In the early morning of April 7, 2021, heaven's gates opened to welcome it's new angel. Surrounded by family, Wilbert passed on at the age of 71. Wilbert is preceded in death by his son Will and survived by his 9 kids: Irene, Jo-Anne, Willard, Keith, Wayne, Eddie, Myrtle and Mary; 8 grandchildren: Zykeim, Wilbur, Anthony, Heaven, Sky, Morgan, Mariah and Willard; as well as numerous family and friends.
