Heimann, Wilfred "Fritz"Wilfred W. "Fritz" Heimann, age 87, Kiel passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 2, 2016 after a short stay at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.He was born on September 20, 1929 in Charlestown, Calumet Co., son of the late George and Agatha (Meyer) Heimann.Fritz attended St. Martin Parochial School in Charlestown.On May 7, 1955 he was united in marriage to the former Gertrude Faust at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.He was employed as a machinist and tool & cutter grinder at Power Products Co., Grafton and Tecumseh Products Co., New Holstein for 42 years until his retirement in May 1992.He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Catholic Knights Society.Fritz enjoyed woodworking, landscaping, and growing roses, putting them to good use for the parish and his family.Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Gertrude, Kiel, seven children; Jacqueline (Bruce) Kaboord, Sheboygan Falls, Ronald Heimann, New Holstein, Kathleen (Bob) Fricke, Sheboygan Falls, James (Cindy) Heimann, Elkhart Lake, Dan (Debi) Heimann, Elkhart Lake, Carol (Tom) Turba, New Holstein, Judy Heimann (Frank), Kiel. Grandchildren; Aaron (Jessica) Moskow, Jennifer Moskow, Sarah Krase, David (fiancee, Ashley England) Heimann, Nicholas (Heather) Turba, Eric Turba and Jack Roe. He is further survived by a step grandchild; Kyle (Anna) Kaboord, great grandchild; Maximus Moskow, step great grandchild; Sydney Kaboord, three sisters; Marie Ludwig, Chilton, Juliana Weber, New Holstein, Isabell Schneider, Lake of the Hills, IL, sisters-in-law; Sr. Rita Faust, Portage, Sr. Georgene Faust, Phoenix, AZ, Margaret (Edwin) Steinert, Kiel, Jane Ludowissi, West Bend, Cyrilla Faust, New Holstein, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Tori Heimann, two brothers, Sylvester and Albert, and one sister, Leona Daun, along with numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.Funeral services for Fritz will take place at 4:00 pm, Monday, November 7, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1724 Madison St. New Holstein) with Fr. Patrick Nelson S.D.S. and Deacon Pat Knier officiating.Family and friends may gather at the church from 1:00 pm until 3:45 pm when brief family rites will take place.Burial will take place at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.A special thanks to Dr. Timothy Goggins and his staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology Cancer Specialist, nurses and staff at the Sharon S.
