Wilfred Henry Coronel was born June 14, 1932, and went to be with THE LORD on June 23, 2021, while he was at his Pompano Beach, FL home. He was 89 years old. He was born in Paramaribo, Suriname, and later became a US citizen.

Wilfred’s spent his early years as a boxer and weightlifter, nickname Willy Babco. Much of his early and mid-life was spent with his family in New York Queens borough and Orange County. The majority of Wilfred’s career was spent as a controller accountant in New York City, New York.

Wilfred enjoyed vegetable gardening he was extremely joyful in growing a variety of vegetables and fruit and sharing with other people the harvest. He contributed to a place of worship community gardening in Pompano Beach, FL.

Wilfred is survived by his siblings Juliette Cobian 95, Irma Buerskens 93, Harold Coronel 92, Lucy Finn 81, and Dorothy Klint 78.
Wilfred’s survived by an ex-wife,6 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID 19 and distance for travel, there will be NO Memorial Service. Wilfred's last request will be fulfilled according to his instructions.
