Willard Eugene WeaverBYESVILLE: Willard Eugene Weaver, 80, of Byesville passed away Sunday (May 29, 2016) at his home.He was born on March 23, 1936 in Cumberland, Ohio and was the son of the late Willard and Amanda (Abrams) Weaver.He worked at the Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo, Ohio for 12 years, during that time he became involved with the local union, and eventually went to work for the U.S.W.A. where he was a staff representative and sub- district director for 23 years. He was a 1954 graduate of Pleasant City high school, and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters; two brothers; and one son, Kevin Weaver who passed away June 30, 2015.He is survived by his wife of 60 years Janice (McGath) Weaver whom he married July 15, 1955; two sons, Russell (Debbie) Weaver, Cedar Key Fl, and Shawn (Shannon) Weaver, Byesville; one daughter Pamela (David) Rider, Nashport; one daughter-in-law Leah Weaver, Zanesville; grandchildren, Dr. Kristina (Michael) Loomis, Nicole (Todd) White, Brittney (Cory) Payton, Lexee Pletcher, Shaun Pletcher, Zane Pletcher, Brayden Payton, Brayleigh Payton. Ryan Rider, Conner Rider, Gavyn Rider, Summer Rider, Adrienne Trenner, Liam Weaver, Noah Weaver, Brandy (Tony) Depodesta and Bella Depodesta; several neices and nephews, including special niece Nancy.Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Debbie Gheen officiating.
